Republic Act No. 9038 (RA 9038) — An Act Converting the Third Sub-District Engineering Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways in the Province of Negros Oriental into a Full-Fledged Engineering District to Be Known as the Negros Oriental Third Engineering District and Appropriating Funds Therefor

SECTION 1. The Third Sub-District Engineering Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways in the Province of Negros Oriental is hereby converted into a full-fledged engineering district to be known as the Negros Oriental Third Engineering District.
SEC. 2. The Negros Oriental Third Engineering District shall comprise the municipalities of Bacong, Basay, Bayawan, Dauin, Santa Catalina, Siaton, Valencia and Zamboanguita.
SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 4. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall promulgate the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provisions of this Act.
