Section 1

SECTION 1. Section five of Act Numbered One hundred and seventy-five, entitled "An Act providing for the organization and government of an Insular Constabulary and for the inspection of the municipal police," as amended, is hereby further amended so as to provide that in the event of the temporary absence of the Chief of Philippines Constabulary, or of his inability from any cause to perform the duties of his office, the same shall be performed during such absence or disability by an assistant chief of Constabulary to be designated by the Governor-General as Acting Chief of Philippines Constabulary.
