SEC. 32. If for any cause no meeting is held on the day fixed and appointed by law or by the by-laws of the corporation for holding the election of directors, a meeting may be called for that purpose either by the directors or as provided in section twenty-six; and at the meeting held in pursuance of such call the election may In: had with the same effect as if it had taken place on the day fixed by law or by the by-laws of the corporation.
