No person shall inhale, snuff, chew, swallow, inject, or otherwise use or permit to be used in or on his body any cocaine, alpha or beta cucaine, or any derivative or preparation of such drugs or substances, except upon the prescription of a duly licensed and practicing physician or except as otherwise specially provided in this Act,
