Section 3

SEC. 3. Subsection (k) of section forty of said Act is hereby amended to read as follows: "(k) To license, public carriages, carts, and hearses kept for hire; and regulate cafes, restaurants, hotels, inns, and lodging houses; to license and regulate or to prohibit public dancing schools, public dance halls, and horse races; to license without taxing and to regulate public billiard tables, theatrical performances, and circuses."
