Contracts not in excess of five hundred dollars.

Section 32

SEC. 32. Contracts not in excess of five hundred dollars.—If the consideration for a contract shall not exceed five hundred dollars, the Board may authorize the head of any department, or any city officer, to execute such contract; but no expenditure shall be made for such purpose without the written order of the Board, which order shall be returned and filed as a voucher with the bill upon which payment was made.
