SEC. 2. There shall be at Boloc-Boloc. at the expense of the appropriations for the Bureau of Health, a resident physician, who shall be appointed by the Governor-General, with the advice and consent of the Philippine Commission, at a salary not exceeding Three thousand six hundred pesos per annum. The said physician shall, in accordance with the orders and directions of the Director of Health, have charge of the sanitarium and manage the bathing establishment, give advice, and if necessary, gratuitous attendance to the indigent sick. The said physician shall designate the duties of the employees authorized and see that they properly perform the same and shall have in his charge, besides the building of the sanitarium and bathing establishment, such personal property and other supplies and material as he may receive for use in the said buildings. He shall have in his charge the medicines sent him by the Director of Health and shall fill all prescriptions requested to be filled, for which services he shall collect a minimum charge of fifty centavos, and the proceeds from such services and all other funds that he may receive under this Act, shall be covered by him into the Insular Treasury.
