SECTION 1. Section five of Act Numbered One hundred and ninety-eight, relating to official transportation, is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: "Provided, however, That nothing herein contained shall prevent the Chief and Assistant Chief of the Fire Department, the Chief and Assistant Chief of Police, and the Attending Physician and his assistant to house and stable their official vehicles and horses at their places of residence and to use the same in going to and returning from such residences on official business; but such vehicles and horses shall be under the control of the Insular Purchasing Agent as to the care of vehicles and the care and forage of horses."
