Section 1

SECTION 1. Subsection (g) of section forty of Act Numbered Eighty-two is hereby amended to read as follows: "(g) To construct and maintain waterworks for the w purpose of supplying the inhabitants of the town with water, to control the use of said water and of water courses within the town, and to fix and collect rents or taxes therefor: Provided, That the powers hereby granted to the municipalities are made extensive to existing waterwork systems."
