Act No. 2677 Section 1

Section 1

SECTION 1. Sentences pronounced by Courts of First Instance in criminal cases orginating in justice of the peace and municipal courts shall not be final if the defendant appeals within the period provided by law. The defendant may appeal from such sentences to the Supreme Court in all cases. The procedure in said cases in the Courts of First Instance shall be the same as in the courts of origin.
