Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the President of the United States: Provided, That upon the approval of this Act by the Governor-General, it shall be by him forthwith transmitted to the President of the United States, and he shall approve or disapprove the same within six months from and after its enactment and submission for his approval and if not disapproved within such time it shall become a law the same as if it had been specifically approved, in accordance with the provisions of section nine of the Jones Act. Approved, May 16, 1917.
