SEC. 30. Any person or persons who voluntarily or maliciously destroys, damages or tampers with any of said railroad lines, engines, buildings or other property of the grantee, or who voluntarily or maliciously performs any act to the detriment of the operation of said railroad lines, shall, upon conviction by any competent court, be punished by a fine of not more than live thousand pesos, or by imprisonment for not more than two years, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court. The offended party shall also have the right to recover all damages in a separate civil action in any court of competent jurisdiction.
