SEC. 52. Section twenty-six hundred and forty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 2641. Destruction, taking, concealment or mutilation of ballots.—Any officer having custody of any such ballots who willfully destroys or mutilates the same, or permits the destruction, taking, concealment or mutilation thereof or is unable to give satisfactory information concerning their whereabouts, except as prescribed by law, shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one month nor more than five years, and by a fine of not less than one hundred pesos nor more than two thousand pesos, and in all cases by deprivation of the right of suffrage and disqualification from public office for a period of not more than five years."
