SEC. 61. Section twenty-six hundred and fifty of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 2650. Secretion, taking or destruction of box, list, or election supplies.—Any person who willfully or maliciously injures or destroys or takes, secretes or carries away a ballot box, registry list, poll list, statement, ballot, stationery or other supplies furnished at any election, shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one year nor more than five years, and by a fine of not less than five hundred pesos nor more than two thousand pesos, and by deprivation of the right of suffrage and disqualification from public office for a period of not more than ten years."
