SECTION 1. Section two hundred and seventy-six of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code, as amended by Act Numbered Twenty- nine hundred and eleven, is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 276. Persons entitled to accrued leave.—After at least two years continuous, faithful, and satisfactory service, the proper Head of Department shall, subject to the requirements of the public service, grant each regularly and permanently appointed officer or employee in the Philippine civil service, except as hereinafter provided, twenty-four days' accrued leave of absence with full pay, inclusive of Sundays and holidays, for each year of satisfactory service in the Islands, or abroad, if specially detailed."
