Section 1

SECTION 1. The sum of two hundred and sixty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise set aside, in addition to the funds appropriated for the expenses of the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Act Numbered Thirty-one hundred and twenty-three, of which sum one hundred thousand pesos shall be for the Philippine Senate and one hundred and sixty thousand pesos for the House of Representatives: Provided, That this additional appropriation shall be exempt from the operation of Joint Resolution Numbered One of the Legislature, approved March sixteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-three.
