SEC. 2. Section one, paragraph "I," (kk), item fourteen, of Act Numbered Thirty-four hundred and twenty-seven, is also hereby amended to read as follows: "(14) For the construction, reconstruction, maintenance, and repair of radio, telegraph, and telephone lines, and for the purchase of equipment and wire, including the acquisition by purchase or otherwise of the fully equipped cableship mentioned in section one of this Act, and the expense of delivering same in the Philippine Islands or the obtaining the use of a ship and the reconditioning and equipping the same for cable work, including the expense of delivering the same in the Philippine Islands, as provided in section one of this Act, and including also the expense of chartering a boat for the purpose of bringing to the Philippine Islands the cable material purchased from, and now in, London, England, to be expended by the Director of Posts with the approval of the Secretary of Commerce and Communications........................ P295,000.00"
