Section 4

SEC. 4. Persons authorized to solemnize marriages.—Marriage may be solemnized by— (a) The Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court; (b) Judges and auxiliary judges of Courts of First Instance; (c) The municipal judges of Manila and justices of the peace, and (d) Priests or ministers of the gospel of any denomination, church, sect or religion, and chaplains of the Army or Navy of the United States registered in the Philippine National Library, as provided in Chapter IV of this Act.
