Section 2

SEC. 2. The following officers and employees are hereby authorized in the office of the Collector of Customs for the Philippine Archipelago and for the custom-house at the port of Manila: One Deputy Collector of Customs for the Philippine Archipelago, at a salary of four thousand dollars per annum; two additional deputy collectors of customs of class one; one Surveyor of Customs for the Philippine Archipelago, at a salary of four thousand dollars per annum; one deputy surveyor of customs of class two.
