Section 2

SEC. 2. A new section is hereby inserted between sections two and three of Act Numbered Thirty-one hundred and fourteen as amended by Acts Numbered Thirty-one hundred and sixty-eight and Thirty-six hundred and forty which shall be known as section two and one-half and shall read as follows: "SEC. 2 1/2. For the purposes of this Act, municipal hospitals supported in whole or in part by municipal funds shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Philippine Health Service and the officers and employees therein shall have insular status."
