Section 1
SECTION 1. Section five of Act Numbered One hundred and thirty-nine, entitled "An Act extending the provisions of the Provincial Government Act to the Province of Nueva Ecija," as amended by Act Numbered Three hundred and ninety-eight, is hereby amended by striking out the following words: "Which date shall not be later than the first of January, nineteen hundred and three," so as to read as follows: "SEC. 5. The capital of the province shall be, as formerly, at the town of San Isidro: Provided, however, That if at the semiannual meeting of the presidents to be held on the third Monday of May, nineteen hundred and two, under the preceding section, a majority of all the presidents of the province shall vote to change the capital from San Isidro to some other town in the province, such, town, after a certain date to be decided upon by the provincial board, shall then become the capital."
