SEC. 2. The officers and men of the Metropolitan Police Force shall be paid, per month, in money of the United States, as follows: Captains, one hundred and fifty dollars; first lieutenants, one hundred and twenty-five dollars; second lieutenants, one hundred and fifteen dollars; sergeants, ninety dollars; corporals, seventy-five dollars; privates, sixty-five dollars.
