Section 1

SECTION 1. The Board of Regents of the University of the Philippines is authorized to fix the compensation and salaries of members of the faculties, officers, and employees of said institution: Provided, however, That when a professor or official is employed under contract for a compensation of eight thousand pesos, or more, per annum, said contract shall be subject to the approval of the President of the Philippines.
