SEC. 124. Requisition for official ballots. — (a) Ballots shall be furnished by the Director of Printing at the expense of the municipality upon requisition therefor by the provincial treasurer in the usual form. The requisition shall be for each municipality, at the rate of one and one-half ballot for every person registered in the list in the last preceding election. The requisition shall specify what offices are to be filled in each municipality. (b) The requisition shall be made whenever possible at least seventy days before the date of the election. (c) In the case of special elections, the Secretary of the Interior shall request the Director of Printing to furnish official ballots to the municipalities of the political division concerned in the same quantities furnished them in the last regular election, plus an additional number of ballots equivalent to ten per centum thereof.
