SEC. 10. The first sentence of section twenty-four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred and twenty-six is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "SEC. 24. The chief of police.—There shall be a chief of police who shall have the following general powers and duties, subject to the provisions of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred and forty-three and such executive orders as may be issued pursuant thereto:"
