Section 1

SECTION 1. Section nine of Presidential Decree No. 995 is hereby amended to read as follows: “SEC. 9. Appropriations. – To meet the organizational as well as other expenses of the Batasan Bayan, the amount of Two Million Pesos is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Decree.”
