Preamble

WHEREAS, it has been observed that confusion arises in the implementation of Section 1 of Presidential Decree No. 513; and WHEREAS, in order to update the proper recording and keeping of mining instruments and documents registered under Commonwealth Act No. 137, as amended, and other previous mining laws, there is a need to amend Sections 1 and 2 of Presidential Decree No. 513; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby order and decree:
