SEC. 10. Special Qualifications for the Rank of Fire Brigadier General.-No member of the Integrated National Police shall be promoted to the rank of Fire Brigadier General unless he has the following qualifications: a. Must be at least forty years of age; b. Must be a holder of a bachelor's degree in any engineering science related to hydraulics, chemistry, structures, electricity, machines, and the like or a holder of civil service eligibility for the chief of the fire departmnt of chartered city and has satisfactorily completed an advanced course or its equivalent, in fire prevention and suppression in a local or foreign school duly recognized by the Integrated National Police or National Police Commission; c. Must have at least ten years experience in executive, command or staff position in the fire service; and d. Must have served satisfactorily in the rank of Fire Colonel for at least one year in a permanent status.
