Preamble

WHEREAS, to enable the Cultural Center of the Philippines to carry out the objectives for which it was created by Presidential Decree No. 15 dated October 5, 1972, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 179 dated April 26, 1973, it has been vested with appropriate powers and prerogatives; and WHEREAS, for a more effective exercise of such powers and prerogatives, it is imperative that such be expanded and clearly defined; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby order and decree:
