Preamble

WHEREAS, the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA) has been created as the government's implementing arm in integrating activities and services related to tourism development; and WHEREAS, there is a need to transform it into a more effective instrument geared towards the development of the various tourism infrastructure projects in the country; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby order as follows:
