Section 18
SEC. 18. General Counsel — The Government Corporate Counsel shall be the General Counsel of the Authority who shall exclusively handle, control and supervise the legal affairs of the authority and its subsidiaries are hereby authorized to appropriate and pay such amount representing assessments by the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel for its operation and maintenance approved by the Office of the President. The Government Corporate Counsel may designate any of the lawyers in the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel to assist him in the discharge of his functions, The Authority may extend such allowances to such lawyers so designated in such amount as may be approved by the Board.
