Preamble

WHEREAS, Presidential Decree No. 1287 was promulgated on 20th January 1973 creating the Philippine High School for the Arts; and WHEREAS, since organization of said school High School, it has been found necessary to enlarge and change the composition of the Board of Trustees thereof, to better serve the purposes and functions of the School; NOW, THEREFORE, I. FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby decree and order:
