Preamble

WHEREAS, the information on the general registration of voters is being disseminated throughout the country by the Commission on Elections and various organizations; WHEREAS, a substantial number of citizens especially in the countryside has not been fully apprised of the ramification of Presidential Decree No. 1896, such that it is necessary to reset the scheduled meetings of the citizens' election committee; N0W, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby decree:
