SECTION 1. Section 14c of Presidential Decree No. 1184 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 14. Appointing Authorities.—The members of of the Integrated National Police shall be appointed as indicated below: xxx xxx "c. Officers from the rank of Police Brigadier General to Police Major General and Fire Brigadier General to Fire Major General shall be appointed by the President as recommended by the Director General thru the Minister of National Defense."
