Creation of the Schistosomiasis Control Council.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Creation of the Schistosomiasis Control Council.—The National Schistosomiasis Control Commission created under Republic Act Numbered four thousand three hundred fifty-nine is hereby abolished and in lieu thereof, there is hereby created the Schistosomiasis Control Council, hereinafter called the Council, which shall be attached to the Department of Health. The powers, functions, balance of appropriations, records, assets, as well as the rights and obligations of the National Schistosomiasis Control Commission are hereby transferred to, vested in, and assumed by the Council.
