SECTION 1. Section 5 of Presidential Decree No. 907 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5. * * * Honor graduates during the schoolyears previous to 1972-73 shall likewise be conferred civil service eligibilities as provided in Presidential Decree No. 907. They shall, however, register with the Civil Service Commission or any of its regional offices, within six months after the approval of this Decree. The Civil Service Commission shall grant the eligibility in accordance with the rules and regulations promulgated for the purpose."
