Role of Local School Boards.

Section 11

SEC. 11. Role of Local School Boards. - The Local School Boards shall: (a) Coordinate with the DepEd in the identification of Last Mile and GIDA Schools to be established, constructed, or supported; (b) Recommend and allocate funds, including the Special Education Fund and other local resources, for the establishment of, and support to, Last Mile and GIDA Schools; (c) Ensure the Last Mile and GIDA School needs are included in local education and development planning; and (d) Promote community participation, including parents, ICCs/IPs, and other stakeholders, in school planning and monitoring.
