SEC. 2. The second paragraph of section twenty-seven of Republic Act Numbered Five hundred twenty-three, otherwise known as the charter of the City of Butuan is amended to read as follows: "This chief of secret service shall receive a salary not exceeding two thousand four hundred pesos per annum.
