Appointment, removal and salaries of officials and employees.

Section 19

SEC. 19. Appointment, removal and salaries of officials and employees.—The President of the Philippines shall appoint, with the consent of the Commission on Appointments, the judge and auxiliary judge of the municipal court, the city treasurer, the city engineer, the city attorney, the city health officer, the chief of police and fire department, and other heads of such city departments as may be created. Said officers shall not be suspended or removed except in the manner and for causes provided by law.
