Section 1

SECTION 1. The second paragraph of section seven of Republic Act Numbered Five hundred and twenty-five, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: "The Mayor shall receive a salary in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Eight hundred forty. At the discretion of the Municipal Board, the Mayor may be provided, in addition to his salary, a non-commutable allowance not exceeding four thousand pesos per annum."
