SEC. 2. The amount of pecuniary aid shall be determined by the Director of Prisons and approved by the Secretary of Justice, in accordance with the rules and regulations which shall be promulgated by the latter; Provided, however, That the maximum amount which may be paid as pecuniary aid shall in no case exceed five hundred pesos.
