The Assistant City Health Officer.

Section 36

SEC. 36. The Assistant City Health Officer.—There shall be an assistant city health officer who shall act as city health officer in the absence or incapacity of the city health officer, and shall perform such other duties as may be imposed upon him by the city health officer or prescribed by law or ordinance. He shall be appointed by the Mayor upon the recommendation of the city health officer and subject to the approval of the proper department head, and shall receive a salary of four thousand pesos per annum.
