Section 5
SEC. 5. Reserve officers who on the approval of this Act are on active duty and are reverted to inactive status by virtue of its provisions, shall be given priority in civilian employment in the government service or in that of government-owned or controlled corporations in parity with veterans, in positions and at salaries commensurate with their educational background, training and experience, provisions of the civil service regulations to the contrary notwithstanding.
