Section 6
SEC. 6. The municipal officers mentioned in this Act shall be entitled to receive the full amount of the appropriations for their salaries which may be provided and approved in the corresponding provincial and municipal budgets in accordance with the provisions of section one hereof, any provision of existing laws, rules and regulations to the contrary notwithstanding: Provided, That the maximum rate of compensation authorized for the civil service eligibility, where this is required, of the officer concerned is not exceeded.
