Disqualifications.

Section 8

SEC. 8. Disqualifications.—With the exception of the ex-officio members and their respective alternates, none of the following may be a member of the Monetary Board or a deputy-governor of the Central Bank: (a) Persons holding any public position or office, either by election or by appointment, except academic positions; and (b) Directors, officers or employees of other banking institutions.
