SEC. 46. Appointment and personnel.—The Auditor-General shall appoint a representative who shall be the auditor of the Central Bank. The Auditor-General shall appoint the necessary personnel to assist said representative in the performance of his duties. The salaries of the auditor and his staff shall be determined by the Auditor-General with the advice of the Monetary Board. Said salaries and aid other expenses of maintaining the auditor office shall be paid by the Central Bank. The auditor of the Central Bank said personnel under him may be removed only by the Auditor-General. The representative of the Auditor-General must be a certified public accountant with at least ten years experience as certified public accountant or a person who has had training and experience in commercial or central banking. No relative of any member of the Monetary Board or the Auditor-General within the sixth degree of consanguinity or affinity shall be appointed such representative.
