SEC. 20. Section two hundred and thirty-one of Commonwealth Act Number Four hundred and sixty-six is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 231. Stamp tax on leases and other hiring agreements—on each lease, agreement, memorandum, or contract for hire, use, or rent of any lands or tenements, or portions thereof, there shall be collected a documentary stamp tax at the following rates: "(a) If executed for not more than one year, sixty centavos. "(b) If executed for more than one year and not more than three years, one peso and fifty centavos. "(c) If executed for more than three years, three pesos."
