Chief of Secret Service.

Section 31

SEC. 31. Chief of Secret Service.—There shall be a chief of the secret service who shall, under the chief of police, have charge of the detective work of the department and of the detective force of the city, and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him by the chief of police ¦or prescribed by law or ordinance.
