SEC. 84. General Auditing Office-City auditor.-The city auditor, under the supervision of the Auditor General, shall receive and audit all accounts of the city, in accordance with the provisions of law relating to government accounts and accounting, lie shall be appointed by the Auditor General and shall receive a salary of three thousand six hundred pesos per annum, one-half of which shall be paid by the city government and the other half by the National Government.
