Section 96

SEC. 96. Continuance in office of all elective and ap­pointive officials and employees.—All elective officials of the city government shall continue in office until the ex­piration of the term to which they were elected. All appointive officials, officers and employees of the city gov­ernment shall also continue in office, and all incumbent officials permanently appointed to the positions affected by this Act shall receive the salary increases herein auth­orized upon the effectivity hereof without the necessity of a new appointment.
